For as many years as we can remember (exactly 3), we have gathered at the Edison club to support the long term financial goals of our Shen Youth Lacrosse Club. A few years ago we needed a lax shed on campus, so we fired up this little fundraiser tournament to cover it. As it turns out, that was just a huge head fake on our part because as soon as we could afford to buy a shed, the school gave us half of the soccer shed. For the last two years, our goal has been to create a permanent outdoor box lacrosse and training facility for our youth and high school players. As it turns out, this project is going to take money, connections, blood oaths, first born children, and more caysh. Whatever it takes and however long it takes, we WILL get it done.

SO, HERE'S THE DEAL

Light lunch fare (maybe. stay tuned. come on, it's a fundraiser)

Keg on the patio for anyone interested in that sort of thing (Thank you Hank Hudson)

1pm shotgun start

2 player teams (complex scoring algorithm details to be announced)

Then into the clubhouse for:

Food (think wings, maybe burgers. again.. fund-RAISE-r)

Refreshments of your choice (purchased by you. Or Joe Leska if you time it juuuust right)

50/50 drawing

Skins game winner payouts

Formal award ceremony for low gross, low net

Raffle items

Speeches

Poker

Tunes (Michael McDonald anyone?)

General goodtimesmanship

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

1) Email Andy that you're coming at [email protected]

2) Tell Andy who your partner is or if you need one

3) Tell Andy what your handicap/index is or what you typically shoot if you don't have one

4) PASS THIS ON to people outside the youth program who might like to join us or donate (HS girls and boys players parents)

5) PLEASE consider donating an item for the auction or raffle. Let Andy know if you plan to bring anything

6) PLEASE consider asking for a donation from a local business and/or matching funds from your employer

HOW CAN YOU PAY?

1) Bring a check to the tournament, payable to the Shen Youth Lacrosse Club.

2) Bring CASH to the tournament, payable to the bearer of said cash.

3) Get on on the youth lax website and pay with a card (you'll see it as an available "program"
